## About me

most of my friends call me abhi (pronounced uhh-bhee). you can too.

i was born in delhi, india and have lived around the world. these days i'm in the us, working as a software developer.

i graduated from [ut dallas](https://www.utdallas.edu/) in 2023 with a bachelor's in cs and a minor in spanish. since then i've been working at an airline and doing my masters at [georgia tech](https://omscs.gatech.edu/).

more than anything, i am _deeply_ passionate about ai in our society. i want to see the largest technological innovation of our time democratized — which takes both acceleration and safety. right now i'm devouring everything i can about how to help good actors in ai take good actions.

## Currently tinkering

- taking [cs 7641: machine learning](https://omscs.gatech.edu/cs-7641-machine-learning) at georgia tech.
- reproducing applied ai papers — currently [the ACE paper](https://github.com/abhiamishra/ace-repro) and GEPA.
- writing about all of it on the [blog](/aamblog).
